"Dear Mr. Wieseler,
I called last week to ask about having the wiring harness for a plow removed from my truck. They told me to go ahead and drop in Monday morning, and that they'd be able to take care of it no problem.
When I stopped by at about 8:30am yesterday, the woman at the service counter was extremely polite and cheerful. She was very helpful, and even went so far as to show me to the waiting room and bring me some coffee. That was really above and beyond, considering that the work being done was pretty minimal, and there was no reason for her to think I'd be a returning customer. It was just genuine great service, and that's something she (and you) should be proud of. Giving great service to a customer who is buying a $10,000 plow is one thing, but it's a whole other level of professionalism to have that kind of service and courtesy extend to every customer, even the ones who are spending just $50.
Another thing is that the work took perhaps 20 minutes or so. I don't know if they put off something else that they were doing, but I really appreciate the fact that they just took the truck, did the work, and got me on my way. I really expected to be waiting around for 2 hours or more.
Finally, there is just one more thing. I'm almost positive that there was a bag of garbage in the back of my truck when I arrived. I noticed when I left your shop that it was gone. I'm not 100% sure, but I think you service manager must have just tossed it for me. I just don't know what to say, except that it is extremely rare to run into a business where people think like that. 99.99% of the time, people would not even notice a bag of garbage in the back of a truck, but your people apparently just took it as a matter of "how we do things" and never even mentioned it. Awesome!!!
